From 98f970679eaa0e8a86c2431cfa98c8149b29a259 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Michael Orlitzky Date: Thu, 5 Aug 2021 18:16:30 -0400 Subject: [PATCH] Makefile: fix the HTML documentation rule. It looks like man2html on Linux does not (or does not any longer) support the "-t" flag. Moreover, man2html seems happy to read the man page directly. In this commit we simplify the html documentation rule to simply call man2html on the man page itself, with no flags. --- Makefile | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/Makefile b/Makefile index 8f12319..2e09bf6 100644 --- a/Makefile +++ b/Makefile @@ -54,5 +54,5 @@ release: rel=$(program)-$$vers ; \ tar -cJf $${rel}.tar.xz --transform=s",^,$${rel}/," $(src) ; -htmlpage: - groff -m mandoc -T ascii $(program).1 | man2html -t 'Man page: $(program)(1)' >| $(program).1.html; +$(program).1.html: $(program).1 + man2html $< > $@ -- 2.44.2
