Revert "TODO: the date/time are fixed while the QR is focused"

This reverts commit 1fb309628cc841a29e4d90d20e10cd5866900975.

Just kidding, they aren't fixed; I think I looked at a ticket after
the usual ten-minute blinking period had passed.
